SRA Entity Index
The Supernatural Registration Authority currently handles registration and enforcement of law for 43 entity types. These entities are cataloged in the SRA Entity Index below.
Supernatural (Class 1)
Class 1 entities exhibit behaviors and traits that cannot be explained by modern science, including post-mortem sentience, short-period metamorphoses and controlled phase changes. They are considered highly dangerous and face harsh sanctions if unregistered.
Werewolf
A werewolf is a supernatural creature who appears human but whose physical form and mental faculties may alter to exhibit wolf-like characteristics. A werewolf’s metamorphosis may be voluntary or the result of a curse, genetic inheritance or other supernatural condition.
Registered werewolves are protected by several SRA and United Nations laws, including the Supernatural Enforcement and Protection Act of 1952 and the Stockholm Shape-Shifter Protocol.
All new werewolves must be registered within the following time periods, depending on the method of infection:
– within 48 hours where the infection is the result of in-vitro exposure to the lycanthropy virus (werewolf at birth)
– within 12 hours where the infection has occurred through a bite, sexual contact or other direct exposure to the lycanthropy virus
Vampire
A vampire is a semi-living supernatural creature who retains the appearance of vitality but whose body is incapable of producing blood. Vampires must ingest blood from external sources in order to retain sentience and mobility. External blood sources include living mamalian donors and stored blood products. All vampires, regardless of age or physical size, need to consume an average of 2.5L (85 oz.) of blood every 72 hours. When this minimum is met, a vampire possess above-average strength and certain mental/cognitive powers which have not yet been fully documented.
Registered vampires are protected by several SRA and United Nations laws, including the Supernatural Enforcement and Protection Act of 1952 and The Sanguine Accord.
All new vampires must register (or be registered by their patron vampire) within 12 hours of infection.
Zombie
A zombie is a deceased human whose physical remains have been supernaturally reanimated. Zombies can move and think without direct control or guidance from a third party, and may occasionally retain memories of their previous life.
Registered zombies are protected by several SRA and United Nations laws, including the Supernatural Enforcement and Protection Act of 1952 and the Reanimated Sentience Treaty.
All recently-reanimated zombies must registered within 12 hours of reanimation, regardless of original death date.
Ghost
Research in progress.
Fey
Fey are usually humanoid in form, and are typified as having supernatural abilities and a connection to nature or to some other force or place. Research is still being done concerning types of Fey, though research has shown there can be many different types, all of which possess different traits and characteristics. Research has also shown that Fey are born, not created through science or biological interference. All Fey should be registered upon birth or within thirty-six hours of exhibiting symptoms.
